Investigate and research a variety of appropriate sources
- Have you taken a range of your own photographs?
- Have you been to a gallery and there is evidence of this in your workbook?
- Have you collect some APPROPRIATE secondary sources (images from the internet / magazines) that help you identify what you are trying to express through your own work?
- Have you researched artists on gallery websites and in books?
- Other sources could be maps, poetry, films, people, interviews, biographies and more…
- Have you recorded what you see from looking? (observational drawing)
- Have you written down or drawn, what you feel, think, remember, experienced?
- Have you analysed the artwork of others? This means have you described it, explained it, identified and described the elements of art and the principles of design? Have you written about how this connects to your own work?
- Have you reflected on and thought deeply about your own experiences, your own drawings?
