Exhibition
You will select a sample of resolved work and reflect on what makes these effective pieces for exhibition, particularly in response to your own clearly stated intentions and the messages you wanted to communicate about your artwork.

This should be your best work. It can and should be in your best media. While you may include work in a variety of media, you need to remember examiners are looking at how your exibition presents a COHERENT body of work. So don't include something if it doesn't "fit" or if it is not technically your best work.

- As an open day within the school in March (in the Hallway, in the Canteen, in the Drama Studio)
- Students have individual 1 day exhibitions within the school for assessment, and a celebratory exhibition for parents
- Build walls within a large space to display, build plinths, and other artwork specific display
Resolved Artworks

Curatorial Rationale
Explain why artworks have been chosen and presented in a particular format, Explain any challenges, triumphs, innovations, or issues that have impacted upon the selection and presentation of the art works
Exhibition Text
For each artwork you will write a maximum of 500 characters as a caption to each Art work submitted for assessment. This should include:
- title, size, medium
- A brief context for the image. For example “This is my interpretation of ………influenced by………”
- References to any sources which have influenced the piece
- Make it clear if you are deliberately appropriating images from elsewhere
Advice on Capturing Studio Work
When photographing your work, you need to make sure it is represents your work as accurately as possible.
- focused
- on a neutral or black background
- soft even lighting
- 2D work should be flat against a surface so the edges are aligned
- 3D work should include an overall photo, plus supporting photos or short video as appropriate
- re-position
- crop
- adjust for brightness, colour, etc
